Glasses Breakdown
THE PROBLEM
I received this shot, and the issue they had was that they wanted to create a shot with a light pass that didn’t work on the day of filming, in addition to adding the floating glasses into the scene.
SOLUTION
The solution was basically to freeze the shot, rebuild the objects in the scene, project them as textures, and animate the light passing through a window with blinds that was added to the shot. I also modeled the glasses and finalized the shot the way they needed.
